sorry that I have not blogged in a while-- I had a fantastic time in Benicassim, Spain where I enjoyed the gorgeous heat whilst overheating in a tent and sleeping under a palm tree on the beach... then when the festival started on the night it was also brill! the biggest disappointment however was Lily Allen's cancellation-- after rushing to get ready and all sparkled out for her 9:30 slot got there to find Ellie Goulding instead! ellie was still very, very good but Lily was my one fashion outlet of the week-- my plan was to get up to the front row and analyse her outfit, see if any Miu Miu was on show. alas, my plan was not fulfilled.

I don't usually cover menswear, but the Missoni A/W Men's show was at the top of the class. The rich knits looked astounding, had me excited for Winter already! Take a look... I hope my boyfriend looks as good as these male models in the Winter! xoxo
I have spent my morning looking through the Vogue UK cover archive, and I found myself so mesmerised with some of them I thought I would share with you my favourites. First is the iconic January 1990 cover featuring Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford photographed by Peter Lindburgh. My second favourite is January 2002 featuring Stella Tennant, Erin O'Connor, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Rosemary Ferguson (and unseen on inner cover: Jasmine Guinness, Georgina Cooper, Sophie Dahl, Jodie Kidd) and those seated, from left: Cecilia Chancellor, Jacquetta Wheeler, Liberty Ross, Elizabeth Jagger, Jade Parfitt (and unseen on inner cover: Lisa Ratliffe, Karen Elson, Alek Wek and Vivien Solari), shot by Mario Testino. Thirdly, this Kate Moss cover from December 2008 is magical and beautiful, encompassing the magic of Christmas while remaining high fashion, shot by Nick Knight.

All this Miu Miu* writing is making me fall further in love than ever before! Goodness I think I need to take out a loan to feed my fashion wants before long! But look how preeetty they are... just look.... I'm just going to go stare at the advertising campaign on my wall... or maybe just here... xoxo
As an avid British Fashion magazine reader.. along with American and Paris copies... I have started to notice British Elle's love for Mui Mui on their covers. Chloe Sevigny first looked stunning in their April issue with the recognisable dog print and fabulous shoes to match, then Lily Allen showed how to work their new lace and sequin beautys, featured in their new advertising campaign also. Which is your favourite?
Sorry my dear bloggers I know I've been absent, too much to do! I've finished my first internship of the summer and I enjoyed it so so much!! i was on the train home and I started thinking about how different fashion can be for some people, and how it affects them in different ways. Some approach from afar, through magazines, film, television; some completely submerge themselves in it through their work, wealth or sheer love. I myself immerse myself in fashion through every source possible as, for me, it is a way to express oneself in artistic and inspirational ways, yet is also directly applicable to day to day life as we know it. xoxo
